Ryusei MIYAZAKI

「(半)密室のミクロコスモス」は宮崎竜成の自宅にて筒井愛子のテキストを光で照射するインスタレーションである。筒井のテキストは、会場一階にて展開され、立ち入りが禁止されている二階の部屋では、宮崎がコラージュして作成した自宅周辺の環境音が微弱な音量で流されている。この環境音のコラージュは、実際会場の外で鳴り響く環境音と交錯する。それは、作家の自宅という閉じられた空間に鑑賞者が侵入するような感覚と、一方で日常の生活が続いていることを空間や実際の環境音から感受する感覚とが交錯することとリンクするよう意図されている。
光で照射されたテキストはそれ自体で物語を紡げるようなものではない、しかし極めてプライベートなシーンとして描かれる。そのプライベートさは一見閉じられた様相を帯びるようだが、その閉じられの主体は存在しない（あるいは巧みに隠蔽される）。故に文字が文字のまま宙吊りになるような感覚が喚起されるだろう。この光、テキスト、環境音、作られた環境音が、閉じられた密室を閉じられたまま、しかし他者が侵入し、互いに浸透し合い、異質な空間性を帯びるよう試みられている。


"Microcosmos in a "Semi-"Closed Room" is an installation in which Aiko Tsutsui's text is illuminated by light in the home of Ryusei Miyazaki. Tsutsui's text is displayed on the first floor of the exhibition space, and in the room on the second floor, which is off-limits to the public, Miyazaki's collage of environmental sounds from the area around his house is played at a low volume. This collage of environmental sounds intersects with the actual environmental sounds outside the venue. This is intended to link the sensation that the viewer is entering the closed space of the artist's home with the sensation that everyday life is continuing in the space and the actual environmental sounds.
The text illuminated by the light is not a story in itself, but is depicted as an extremely private scene. This is the first time I've seen a work in which the text is illuminated by light. Therefore, you may feel as if the letters are suspended in the air as they are. The light, the text, the environmental sound, and the created environmental sound all attempt to create a heterogeneous spatiality by keeping the closed room closed, but allowing others to enter and permeate each other.
